The beautiful surroundings may have lured us there, but the warm and caring staff is what keeps us there!
Thank you, staff members at Willow Creek! You all do an awesome job! I just had to take a moment to sincerely thank all of you. Through your nurturing care, you have made this lovely assisted living "hotel" feel like home. I visit my mother every day, and I am well aware of what takes place daily. Your living caregivers treat the residents with gentle kindness and respect. They talk to them, hug them, make them laugh, listen to them and make them feel important. I am not only talking about those who do direct care. Every one of your staff members go above and beyond the call of duty. EVERY ONE OF THEM.
Arlene, Gina and Kelly, your med techs are wonderful! Bennie, who keeps things in good working order. June who keeps everyone busy with creative activities. Ron, the smiling bus driver. Annie and Talina in the salon who dispense TLC (tender loving care). Liz and Karen at the front desk greet everyone with a smile! Tina and the housekeeping staff, Robert and his staff in the kitchen have done an awesome job.
Every one of these people is a tremendous asset to your company. Genuine concern for the residents' happiness and safety is their common bond, but each one brings their own unique personality to the table. I have seen many changes in the two years my mother has lived there, nearly all of them have been positive.
So, Willow Creek staff, what you do each day matters to your residents and their families more than you know. I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
The beautiful surroundings may have lured us there, but the warm and caring staff is what keeps us there! THANK YOU!
“ Your caring and loving atmosphere was really a blessing to her and to the family members who lived out of town.”
We want to thank all the staff at Willow Creek for taking such good care of our aunt, Pauline Carrol.
Your caring and loving atmosphere was really a blessing to her and to the family members who lived out of town.
Thank you for all you do for each and every resident at Willow Creek. May God bless each and every one of you.
“ ...your staff treated her as if she was a member of their own personal family.”
Our family members would like to take this opportunity to express our extreme gratitude to all of you at the Willow Creek Memory Care Center for all that you do. It is rare to find an organization that seems to have chosen the most committed and dedicated individuals to serve in a profession that requires the best of you every day.
Our beloved mother, Evelyn McMendone, spent the last five years of her life at Willow Creek in day care, respite, and full time residential care. Every day, the staff delivered their special brand of TLC to ensure that Mom was attended to and fully engaged in all aspects of your services. I watched as your staff treated her as if she was a member of their own personal family. This helped us to trust you to care for our beloved Mom. I have no doubt that their individual love and care came from the heart.
As we neared the last days of Mom's life, the professional care that Mom received was excellent. The extension of that professional care to family members was beautifully executed by the nursing and administration staff members. The steps taken to help the family members accept and process the loss of our Mom were delivered with love and care. In the end, we believed that our loss was your loss because you loved her too.
Thank you to all the members of Willow Creek Memory Care Center for your dedication, care, and love that we have seen exhibited on a daily basis to your clients. We are forever grateful that you loved our Mom as well as you did. God bless you all.
“ It's such a comfort that I am able to leave my husband for a few hours and know he's in good hands...”
Thank you so much for the good care you give my husband. It's such a comfort that I am able to leave my husband for a few hours and know he's in good hands and this helps me so very much.
“ Dad responds to the staff, and even more how they take such good care of him.”
Dad responds to the staff, and even more how they take such good care of him.
My initial introduction to Willow Creek was the most memorable by far. I'm sure that many people experience the same feelings as I did at that time. When a parent, or loved one, is coming to that stage in their life, when they are no longer able to care for themselves, and family members have exhausted their resources and abilities, you come to realize that professional help is needed. Along with that realization comes many other feelings and emotions, especially that of guilt.
Prior to visiting Willow Creek Memory Care, I had checked out many facilities. Most of them felt cold, sterile, and very hospital-like. The word “institution” came to mind. So the day I came into WCMC, I was immediately impressed with the exterior, which resembled a family home. The flowers and beautiful glass doors greeted me. There was colorful carpeting, pictures on the wall, and comfy sofas everywhere. And then came the staff…Alma, who kindly and gently guided me through the building, as well as the process of transition. Literally, I was in tears. To be in a place that felt like a sense of home was all I wanted for my dad.
Somehow things fell into place, and eventually there was a vacancy for Dad. Even though the first two weeks were far harder on me than Dad, he and I both survived [smile]. When I first saw him after that time period, I fully expected an angry father, because I had left him there. Quite the contrary. He warmly greeted me and proceeded to give me a tour of the place. Especially the courtyard area, which he loves the most. You can usually find my father outside, enjoying the fresh air. (If you see little piles of rocks outside, he’s the one responsible for that!)
One full year has nearly come and gone. I love how Dad responds to the staff, and even more how they take such good care of him. He gets smiles, hugs, and plenty of human connection from everyone. Absolutely EVERYONE!!! There’s a sense of respect from the staff that is quite impressive. The activities are conducted by very creative, professional, and thoughtful staff members. The special events, which are provided for family members, give us an opportunity to enjoy the happy times with our loved ones and meet with other families. There’s just a feeling of joy and peace that makes it quite special. I am truly thankful, that my dad, Glenn, is able to spend his final years at Willow Creek Memory Care Center.
“ ...it was such a blessing to have her there”
We can't thank you enough for the quality of care and kindness all of the staff at Willow Creek have shown. My dad went through a lot to keep Mom at Willow Creek, and I believe in the end it was a tremendous comfort to know that he did it, because it was such a blessing to have her there in her last days.
“ You are the best, and your commitment to the people in your care is evident in the care that everyone in your office gives.”
Thank you so much for all you do for my grandmother. You are the best, and your commitment to the people in your care is evident in the care that everyone in your office gives. I feel very lucky to have found you... know that I appreciate all of you for everything you do.
“ You all took such good care of her.”
To all the wonderful caretakers that have taken care of my wonderful sister Nancy, we thank you so much. You all took such good care of her.
“ ...the care and attention given to her at Willow Creek brought our family peace and comfort and the wonderful feeling that Mom was well taken care of.”
Our mother passed away January 8th of this year. However, the care and attention given to her at Willow Creek brought our family peace and comfort and the wonderful feeling that Mom was well taken care of.
“ ...you were our very best medicine on our saddest of days and we still feel the warmth of your hugs and blessings.”
There is no way to express the joy and gratitude to Nancy's Angel Network - you were our very best medicine on our saddest of days and we still feel the warmth of your hugs and blessings. The care with which you do daily is so kind and only in the hands of the most special people. Thank you for making a gift of a home for Mom - in the end it is all they want, love and a safe refuge. May God bless you all.
